Where there may be a valid will or entitled kin living in priority to the Crown,the Government Legal Department have no interest and before making a referral they may well ask you to make reasonable enquiries first.

Harrisons will undertake research to identify and contact the next of kin of the deceased.  If we are unable to do so or if there are no entitled relatives then a referral to the GLD can be undertaken.
